What is Nyanmachi?
Nyanmachi aims at being your European community to learn Japanese online! Join us and enjoy the following features:

What do you plan for the future?
Although Nyanmachi is still in closed alpha, many things are working and new features are added at least on a weekly basis. As I'm developing Nyanmachi alongside a full-time job, please be patient! The next release is planned for June 2011 and includes the following features:
- automatic learning mode which guides you towards your personal learning goals
- new starting points for exercises for a richer learning experience
- new info pages for kana and kanji
- massively improved German translation

At the moment there is no free registration. However, if you want to join the alpha testers, send me a mail and tell me why you're interested and which skills you'll bring along. Which browsers do you support?
Nyanmachi is developed with Chrome, but my testers also reported that it looks fine with recent versions of Firefox. However, Internet Explorer (even version 9) has problems to display Nyanmachi correctly, mostly due to its inability to adhere to web standards.
